Symposium: Deconstructing Programmatic Assessment
Programmatic assessment is an attractive assessment strategy that has adopted by an increasing number of institutions across the medical education continuum. But the model of programmatic assessment can have many different manifestations. It is interesting to analyse these different manifestations and the reasons for the choices being made. In this symposium we wish to learn from different implementations from around the world (Canada, UK and Australia) and reflect on it together with the audience and an expert panel.
The presenters are:
1. Glendon Tait, University of Toronto, Canada
2. Amir Sam, Imperial College London, United Kingdom
3. Lambert Schuwirth, Flinders University, Australia
Panel expert members are:
1. Dario Torre, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, USA
2. Suzanne Schut, Maastricht University, The Netherlands
3. Luke Dawson, University of Liverpool, United Kingdom
4. Harold Bok, Utrecht University, The Netherlands
