A very warm welcome to the 4th EBMA Annual Conference on Assessment in Medical Education.
It is a real pleasure to be working so closely with AMSE this year. We have had very eager submissions for posters, workshops and short presentations. There is a real hunger for international academic interest in our field. The downside is that we are all going to have to make decisions about what we cannot go to! The upside is that there is a real enthusiasm to express new ideas, to share experiences and to work together to improve assessments in medical education. We are developing a strong, open and enthusiastic community and I am looking forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones. Do not hesitate to have a chat with me about anything but especially about EBMA. I do hope that if you have not already done so you will consider institutional or individual membership of EBMA.
