Sessions and activities

Conference dinner
The Conference dinner will be held at the Bierhalle, Manufaktura Łódź from 19:00 - 21:30 . The address is ul. Drewnowska 58, 91-002 Łódź. Booking is essential no later than 31st October. If you have not registered and would like to attend the dinner, please come to the conference information desk to make the payment. We will do our best to accommodate you but we cannot guarantee a place at the dinner.

Chair of sessions
Each thematic session will have a nominated chair identified below each session. The main duty of the chair is to ensure that all presenters adhere to the time allowed.

Posters
Posters can be mounted from 12:00noon on Thursday 7th November until Friday 8th November 10:00am. A board will be provided, labelled with the poster number, title and authors. The poster boards have a frame that you open and put the poster in, so no fixing materials will be necessary.  You should be prepared to present your poster at any time between 10:50am-12:30pm on Friday 8th November 2019. We are unable to give a specific time of presentation. Please remove posters by 15:30 on Sunday 9th November. Posters not removed by this time will be taken down by the conference team and there is no guarantee that they will be returned to the presenters.

Workshops and Presentations
If you’re a speaker please ensure you bring your presentation on a USB-Stick to your allocated room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your presentation. A student volunteer will be available to assist you. Please do not send us your presentation in advance.

Presentation screen ratios will be 16:9, this is the standard ratio.
PCs in the lecture halls will be provided by the organisers. There is VGA in all rooms, however, if you have a Mac it is strongly advised that you bring along your own MAC to VGA adaptor. We may not be able to supply for your machine. We would advise you to put the presentations on a USB-Stick in a compatible format to give everyone the full experience of your presentation.
